Detweiler, Hershey & Associates has always been a committed and active citizen of the communities we serve. The firm has been a member of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce since the 1960's and many of our shareholders and managers/directors have contributed their expertise and time to the organization. Here are just a few examples.

• Bob Schoen – past president and board member; currently serves on the Business Development Committee and chairs the Restaurant Festival Committee
• Bruce Detweiler – past treasurer and board member; currently serves on the Legislative Committee
• Ken Byler – current board member and chair of the Public Relations Committee; presenter in the Community Leadership Institute program; speaker for chamber seminars
• Marc Derstein, Bruce Thomas, and Andy Roth have graduated from the Community Leadership Institute (Virginia Hamilton is enrolled in the 2008 class)

Detweiler Hershey has also sponsored the following chamber events or activities: The Community Leadership Institute, Annual Golf Outing, and Indian Valley Arts Gala. We are pleased to participate in the Souderton Area High School Career Day and Job Shadowing program, the North Penn Chamber Community Reading Day, and a host of other local events. DHA has also sponsored a Soap Box Derby car since 2002.
