Firm Donates Food to Keystone Opportunity Center
Souderton, Pa. Detweiler, Hershey & Associates, P.C., the Souderton-based accounting and business consulting firm completed a successful employee-led holiday giving campaign. A total of 29 bags were collected to benefit the Thanksgiving Meal Bags program coordinated by Keystone Opportunity Center in Souderton. Each grocery bag featured a specific list of foods including: a 13-16 oz. box of instant mashed potatoes; two 24 oz. plastic jars of applesauce; two cans of fruit (in juice); One box brownie or cookie mix bag; Two boxes of stove top stuffing; Two cans of green beans; Two cans of corn; One 1 lb. can of coffee; One small box of Bisquick; Drink mix (powdered) of Ice Tea or Lemonade; and a $25.00 gift card to Landis, Henning’s, or Walmart. Several of the donated bags were filled with gluten-free items.
In addition to this holiday gift, Keystone Opportunity Center also benefits from the expertise of Manager Tracy Voce, CPA, who serves on the organization’s board of directors.
